Drought Conditions Hit Southeastern U.S.

The California drought, and its impact on both small and large communities, was well publicized. A recently published article highlights the threat to the southeastern water supply as well–A threat no generator will resolve.  Significant water shortages, affecting both well water and public water systems, are being seen across a wide swath of the southeast. For homes on water wells, drought conditions can create low flow conditions that make water availability unpredictable. Homes and businesses on public water are at risk of both low water flow and low water quality. Whether on a water well or a public water system, bottled water may meet cooking and drinking needs, but bathing, showering and flushing toilets requires a reliable whole-house solution. Now is the time to prepare.
